This well-respected and much sought after 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 A4 has recently been imported from from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 1199 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing; battery, tool tray, mirrors and side panel emblems being the most obvious. We also noted that there is a hairline crack in the tailight lens and the exhausts are non-standard.

The wheels are straight but the chrome on the rear wheel is rusty.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.

Mudguards are both solid and bright.

Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments look ok & switches move freely.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is quite bright but there are a few marks.

The fuel tank has some rust inside but it appears to be just on the surface.

The non-standard exhausts are solid but the chrome is pitted.

Seat base is in very good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

Chain guard is tidy as is the grab rail.

The engine is cosmetically very clean. We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.
